FK, male, over 60 yrs old, has Raynaud’s disease, had left knee replacement surgery 2 yrs ago, high blood pressure (medication), various muscle/joint complaints particularly the left side of his body. FK concerns are his continued inflammation/pain in the left knee, weight issues & allergies. He has also noticed some inflammation/throbbing in his toes recently.
FK had the following to say about changes he noticed at the end of 10 weekly session: There is relief in my calves, especially in my left leg with the knee replacement. I don’t wake up with the weird toe sensation anymore. I look forward to these sessions as I know they will alter my mood.
FK used to visit me when I followed the Ingham method of reflexology based on an Egyptian model. Here's what he said about the differences: Working from foot to foot on same areas felt more balanced. Previously, one foot was done, as the other “waited.” There was a balance of positive sensation not previously felt with the other method. Quite effective.
